In the chilling supernatural thriller, Becoming, we're introduced to Alex (Toby Kebbell) and Lisa (Penelope Mitchell), a passionately engaged couple deeply immersed in their affection for each other. Amidst a seemingly innocent road trip, they unwittingly cross paths with an ancient malevolent force that deviously selects Alex as its desired vessel, gradually invading his mind and body. This evil presence meticulously transforms him, slowly eroding his persona and replacing it with something violently terrifying. Subtle changes begin to creep in; a shift in his handwriting, a change in his body language. As Alex grapples with the fear of losing himself to this unspeakable horror, Lisa becomes painfully aware of the eerie alterations in the man she thought she knew intimately. Is their love fading, or is it the manifestation of something much darker, much more sinister? In her desperate search for answers, Lisa stumbles upon Kevin (Jason Patric), a scarred survivor of the same entity. Having devoted his life to combatting this relentless evil, he becomes their only hope. Together, they are faced with the daunting task of outsmarting an unfathomable evil that doesn't merely seek to obliterate Alex, but yearns to assimilate him, to become him.
