Apache Rifles (1964)

As the sun burns hot over Arizona Territory in 1879, a stern Captain Jeff Stanton assumes leadership of a cavalry brigade with a critical mission - re-establish the Apaches onto their reservation. The Mescaleros Apaches, under the leadership of the fierce Chief Victorio, have broken free from their boundaries, retaliating against farmers, gold miners, and settlers encroaching upon their sacred lands. In a heated clash, Captain Stanton seizes an opportunity, capturing Red Hawk, the chief's offspring, and wields him as a bargaining chip for peace. He extends a solemn promise to Chief Victorio, vowing to safeguard Apache lands from the relentless influx of gold miners and settlers. However, a volatile mix of greedy townsfolk and displaced gold miners conspire to shatter this fragile peace.
