In the heart of New York City, Corrine Nelson, a gifted musician with a heart for children, works in Dave's Music Shop, owned by her childhood friend, Dave Sheridan. Despite her recent heartbreak from a serious relationship, she prepares for Christmas with cherished enthusiasm. Yet, her holiday spirit is tested when she faces two disappointments: she was not chosen for the solo at the annual Christmas concert where she volunteers, and her boyfriend, Tim, ends their relationship, even though she still longs for him. In the midst of Corrine's despair, a divine intervention is set into motion. A seemingly cynical angel, masquerading as Harold Wagner from Silverton, California, is dispatched from above with a unique mission: to unite the soul mates, Corrine and Dave, by midnight on Christmas Eve. Harold infiltrates their world as a seasonal employee at the music shop, working covertly to kindle a romance between the two. Dave has always harbored a deep affection for Corrine, but fears that his chance of being anything more than a friend has faded. Harold must persuade Dave to reveal the aspects of his life that touch upon the romantic chords of Corrine's heart. Meanwhile, he must help Corrine to see who Dave truly is behind his composed exterior, and to remove her rose-colored glasses when looking at her past relationship with Tim. As Harold faces a series of obstacles in his mission, he gains a new understanding of the importance of his task. With the clock ticking towards his Christmas Eve deadline, the pressure is on, and he must guide Corrine to make a crucial decision: Will she open herself to the possibility of a Christmas love? This enchanting holiday tale is a testament to love, faith, and the magic of Christmas, where miracles happen when you least expect them.
