In the humdrum world of high school, the cynical senior Sophie O'Dea unexpectedly becomes the inheritor of her quirky grandmother's antique car, fondly christened Star. Whispered tales of Star's enchanting abilities spark curiosity in Sophie's mind. Playing along with the whimsical narrative, she makes a casual wish on Star for a date to the Valentine's dance. Much to her astonishment, her wish materializes in the charismatic form of Drake, an emerging star from the dazzling universe of Los Angeles. Now, Sophie must grapple with the challenge of guiding the quick-witted Drake back to the shimmering cityscape before he becomes a permanent fixture in their quaint, small-town existence. Amidst the chaos, Sophie embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning to embrace joy and laughter once again.
