Escape from Planet Earth (2013)

An SOS draws astronaut Scorch Supernova to a notoriously hostile and unwelcoming alien planet. But Scorch is overly confident in himself and psyched up by his adoring fans back home that he answers the call right away. It turns out it was a trap all along, and suddenly Scorch is in need of rescue. With no other heroes available, it will come down to Scorch's nerdy brother Gary to save the day. As a mission control operator, he's long been the brains of the operation — but rescuing Scorch will require him to demonstrate courage and an ability to think on his feet too.
