Plot

Frustrated by the suppression of his story about the potential desecration of corpses by Canadian snipers in Afghanistan, Luke (Nick Stahl) resigns from his job. However, this setback only fuels his resolve to uncover the truth. Accompanied by his eccentric friend, Tom (Nicolas Wright), Luke embarks on a return journey to Afghanistan, determined to gather irrefutable evidence that will breathe new life into his buried narrative. However, Afghanistan greets him with even more danger and unpredictability than before. To add to the complexity of his mission, Luke's former ally and local guide, Mateen (Stephen Lobo), has been co-opted by his journalistic rival, the cunning Imran Sahar (Vik Sahay). As events unfold, Luke and Tom's expedition in Afghanistan morphs into a treacherous and hallucinatory escapade. Their journey plunges them into a parallel world where reality is obscured by a swirl of gunfire smoke, testing their resilience and commitment to truth.
