Plot

In a surreal dystopian society, a sinister figure named Krank (Daniel Emilfork), afflicted by an inability to dream, orchestrates the unsettling kidnapping of innocent children. His motive is to harvest their dreams, a desperate attempt to fill his own void of nocturnal fantasies. Alongside Krank is his eerie band of clones, devoted accomplices in this chilling endeavor. Their latest victim is Denree, the young brother of a former whale hunter known as One (Ron Perlman), who possesses the strength of a horse. The abduction propels One into a relentless quest to find his missing sibling. His journey leads him to the ominous City of Lost Children, a gloomy labyrinth where stolen childhoods are trapped. Along the way, he finds an unexpected ally in the form of the street-smart Miette (Judith Vittet), a young girl whose courage belies her years. Together, they navigate through the shadowy city, driven by determination and brotherly love. Will One and Miette succeed in their mission, or will they too become lost in the city's murky depths? "The City of Lost Children" is a haunting exploration of dreams and despair, strength and hope, set against the backdrop of a bleak, dystopian world. This poignant tale merges the fearsome with the fantastic, drawing viewers into a labyrinth of lost innocence and relentless pursuit.
