Plot

Eight years ago, Damla, a native of Ayvalik, Turkey, embarked on a journey to America to pursue higher education. Now, she stands as a successful businesswoman in New York, wedded to an American lawyer, and six months into her first pregnancy. Despite her success, a lingering shadow of her past in Turkey prevents her from embracing her impending motherhood. Then one day, a piece of news from Turkey unsettles her - her childhood summer house in Ayvalik is being sold. In a whirlwind of emotions, she returns to Ayvalik, her husband by her side, with a singular mission - to confront her past, in the form of her ex-lover, Burak. She had left him years ago without a word of goodbye, a decision that has haunted her since. Burak, however, has moved on and erased her from his life entirely. Now, Damla must reveal a long-kept secret to Burak, hoping to reconcile with her past and prepare for her future. The narrative unravels the complexities of unresolved love, secrets, and the quest for personal closure, all set against the backdrop of the picturesque Ayvalik.
