In the seemingly idyllic suburban life of the Bradshaw family, the past is never far behind. Ann Bradshaw, a dental hygienist, lives a standard middle-class existence with her husband Dale, a partner of 15 years in a prospering high-tech manufacturing firm, and their rebellious teenage daughter, Casey. The tranquility of their life, already marred slightly by Dale's past infidelity, shatters when the police reveal that Dale has been kidnapped. Detective Barry Matthews, a seasoned investigator, steps into the chaotic situation. As he delves deeper into the case, a sinister undercurrent emerges. Evidence begins to suggest that Dale might be entangled in money laundering for a Mexican drug cartel through his thriving company.
