A Night in Nude: Salvation (2010)

In the heart of Tokyo, a man named Jiro (Naoto Takenaka) operates from his warehouse-turned-living-space, offering his services to those in need for a certain price. A jack-of-all-trades, Jiro juggles between odd jobs and playing a private eye, engaging in tasks as mundane as cleaning out storage lockers to as complex as tracking down elusive items. One afternoon, his somewhat secluded existence is punctuated by a beautiful, mysterious woman (Hiroko Sato), who commissions him to unearth a Rolex watch, purportedly lost during an aerial ash-scattering ceremony for her deceased father. Jiro, although skeptical of the woman's tale, is compelled by his need for cash and so indulges her, leading them on a laborious hunt across expansive woodlands, akin to seeking a needle in a colossal haystack. Miraculously, Jiro's perseverance pays off, and he discovers the watch, albeit encrusted in decaying meat. Sensing something amiss, our savvy protagonist turns the dubious find over to a police woman he trusts. Unbeknownst to Jiro, this seemingly innocuous Rolex discovery sets off a chain of events, catapulting him into a new case teeming with violence, sensuality, and peril. Oblivious to the impending dangers, Jiro finds himself venturing deeper into a world of shadows and deceit, a journey that promises to take him to the very heart of darkness.
