A Dickens of a Holiday! (2021)

Cassie, once a director off Broadway, finds herself returning to her hometown of Dickens, trading the bustling streets of New York for the quaint charm of her quiet past. She’s tasked with directing the local rendition of "A Christmas Carol," a cornerstone of the town's century-old Victorian celebrations. When the leading man's voice becomes a casualty, the fate of the show hangs in the balance. The town's mayor presents a solution - a Hollywood action star, Jake, who shares roots with Dickens but a complicated history with Cassie. With reluctance, she reaches out, and to her surprise, Jake agrees, driven by his desire to break free from the shackles of his action-hero image and prove his mettle in serious theatre. Cassie and Jake must now navigate the turbulent waters of their shared past and the present demands of the play. As they quarrel over the production, dormant emotions are awakened, adding another layer of intrigue to their delicate dance.
