In an unexpected twist of fate, Stan and Oliver find themselves in the depths of domestic servitude, with Stan donning a disguise as a maid. Their humorous antics unfold in the grand Vandevere mansion where they stumble through a dinner party with catastrophic yet comical results. The aftermath finds them demoted to street sweepers, where a fortuitous encounter with a bank robber catapults them into an entirely new world.
