A Christmas Wedding Date (2012)

Rebecca Wesley, a relentless workaholic and a business mastermind, finds herself jobless after a corporate merger she orchestrated leaves her unemployed. With her New York life in shambles, she reluctantly accepts a last-minute invitation to return to her quaint upstate hometown for her childhood friend's Christmas Eve wedding. Among the wedding guests is Chad, the proprietor of a sophisticated restaurant and Rebecca's first love from high school. She left him, and their town, behind without a backward glance years ago, but her heart still flutters at the sight of him. However, Rebecca's hardened by her city life and hides her vulnerability beneath a veneer of cold indifference, still harbouring a mistaken belief that Chad betrayed her in the past. In an unexpected twist of fate, Rebecca's journey back to the city is interrupted by Mr. Destiny, her seemingly ordinary cab driver. He triggers a magical time loop, imprisoning Rebecca in the enchantment of Christmas Eve, forcing her to relive the wedding and its festivities over and over. The more she tries to escape, the deeper she falls into the mystical cycle, her actions each time fuelled by a reckless freedom from consequences. As the snow-covered nostalgia of Christmas Eve replays in an endless loop, Rebecca gradually fathoms the truth about Chad's loyalty and his enduring affection for her. She must now navigate the labyrinth of her past mistakes, confront her unfounded suspicions, and discover the true meaning of love and friendship, before the hands of fate allow her to move forward.
