Plot

In the heart of Seattle, Dr. Jack Gramm, a renowned forensic psychiatrist and compelling college professor, wields influence like a sword, his testimony instrumental in the conviction of notorious serial killer, Jon Forster. Dubbed the Seattle Slayer, Forster now languishes on death row, his icy wrath fixed on Gramm whom he accuses of manipulation and witness coercion. As the ticking clock counts down to Forster's final minutes of life, the past returns to haunt Gramm in a chilling echo of past transgressions. An ominous phone call, as enigmatic as it is terrifying, disrupts the tranquility of Jack’s life. A voice from the shadows announces that he has only eighty-eight minutes left to live. Simultaneously, a copycat killer emerges from the city's underbelly, mimicking Forster's grisly modus operandi, and turning the spotlight back on Gramm. The Seattle Slayer Task Force is plunged into a maelstrom of investigation, with women falling prey to a seemingly invisible menace. Haunted by a tortured past that amplifies his prowess, Jack finds himself on a relentless roller-coaster of suspense and danger. Aided by Shelly Barnes, a devoted FBI agent, his loyal friend Frank Parks, and his diligent assistant Kim Cummings, Jack navigates a labyrinth of enigmatic students, a campus security guard with questionable motives, and a mysterious woman from his past. As the seconds tick away, Jack must race against time to unmask the phantom killer, while wrestling with the specter of a past that refuses to rest. Each minute brings him closer to the truth, and potentially, his own end in this heart-stopping thriller.
