12 Hours to Live (2006)

In the remote corners of Illinois' Belgarde County, the elusive felon, John Carl Lowman, finds himself stranded without fuel. Seizing a passing car, he kidnaps the innocent, diabetic Amy Kennedy, plunging her into a terrifying race against time. Enter FBI Agent Megan Saunders, a woman haunted by her past, her emotions intertwined with Lowman, the man who took her partner and lover's life during a reckless bank robbery years prior. As she delves into Amy's predicament, she uncovers a chilling truth - without an insulin shot within 12 hours, Amy's life will tragically end. Megan's superior, however, dismisses her from the case, citing the ghosts of her past failures.
