Young Americans (2000)

Young Americans gives viewers a picture of life at an elite school called Rawley Summer Academy. After cheating on the entrance exams, curious and gifted student Will Krudski has to deal with his guilt. Scout Calhoun, his roommate, falls in love with a beautiful girl--who turns out to be related to him. Jacqueline “Jake” Pratt pretends to be a boy to get into the prestigious school. All of these students’ lives combine as they explore themes such as gender roles, morality, social classes, and forbidden love.
