Diane just graduated high school as the valedictorian. Her over-protective father is over the moon excited for his daughter until he meets her new love interest. Lloyd has been in love with Diane for years. He finally asks Diane out, and she accepts. Soon, the couple is having a serious relationship. Diane's Dad isn't happy with the relationship because Diane is just a few weeks away from going to college, on a full scholarship, and he doesn't want anything or anyone inteferring with her success.
