Plot
When They See Us follows the story of a crime from 1989, in which a jogger was raped in Central Park. Five young men, who would go on to be referred to as the Central Park Five, were charged with the crime. But over the years they never failed to maintain their innocence and continuously fought against the convictions. The series covers a quarter of a century, from 1989 to 2014, when a settlement was reached with the city of New York regarding the case.
