Plot

Drawn from the pages of Deborah Halber's "The Skeleton Crew" and intertwined with the intimate life narrative of producer Wendy West, Ultraviolet (2017) embarks on the turbulent journey of Ola Serafin, a thirty-year-old woman. Compelled by unforeseen circumstances, she abandons her spouse and beloved city of London to seek refuge in her birthplace, Lódz. One fateful night, as she maneuvers her car through the labyrinth of city streets, she becomes an unwitting witness to a chilling scene that appears to be a suicide. Yet, her instincts scream foul play. Met with the disinterest and cold-shoulder treatment of the local police, a desperate Ola turns to the vast, digital world. There, she stumbles upon an eclectic band of Internet sleuths who take it upon themselves to crack open unsolved mysteries that have slipped through the police's fingers. Ultraviolet (2017) is a thrilling ride into the heart of a woman's determination and the incredible power of citizen-led detective work in the digital age.
