In the digital world of the Grid, that which is portrayed on our computer screens just reveals the tip of an iceberg. Within the Grid, programs have their own sentience, but life within the digital world is currently not very pleasant. The city of Argon is being occupied by a military junta, and the cocky young mechanic Beck is ready to fight back. He's been trained by Tron — who just so happens to be the most legendary warrior in the Grid — and he's now assumed the identity of his mentor to fight back against oppression and inspire his fellow programs to rise up with him.
