When a seasoned British officer dons the mantle of Chief of Police, he finds himself and his family relocating to the serene canvas of the Canadian Rockies, in the seemingly tranquil town of Little Big Bear. Yet beneath its peaceful veneer, shadows stir as an Oil Company emerges, bearing the allure of vast fortunes, disrupting the quiet life of this small town. Like a storm cloud darkening the horizon, violence and crime begin to erupt, shattering the town's serenity. The tranquillity of the Rockies is further marred by the arrival of new, enigmatic faces and the emergence of powerful entities, from oil tycoons to enigmatic preachers, and even sinister gangsters. All of them adding layers of complexity to the once placid town. Tragedy strikes, rattling the foundations of the Chief's world, unearthing secrets best left buried deep in the snow-capped mountains. In the face of adversity, the determined ex-undercover UK cop is forced to resort to whatever means necessary to protect his family.
