Plot
CIA agent Carrie Mathison has recently been given probation for defying commands and going on an unauthorized mission in Iraq. She's chaffing from being taken out of the field and placed instead at the Counter-terrorism center. But something is still bothering her from her time in the field. A U.S. Marine sergeant by the name of Nicholas Brody was held in Al-Qaeda captivity for years has been released, but Mathison believes that he's been converted by his captors and intends to conduct an act of domestic terrorism. Unfortunately, no one believes Mathison — and she's being kept on a short leash by her superiors.
