Plot
Eddie Lane, his wife and two children live in a cultish commune in Upstate New York. The fictional cult is called Meyerism, named for its charismatic founder, Stephen Meyer. The group’s leader's recent death has left a power vacuum that cult member Cal Roberts is eager to fill. That doesn’t sit well with some members. In the meantime, Eddie recently returned from a journey to Peru where he underwent an intense spiritual awakening that now has him questioning the doctrines of Meyerism. Eddie and Sarah struggle to hold together marriage and family as cult life gets complicated.
