Plot
The Librarians have existed all the way into ancient history as a secretive organization that protects humanity from the dangers of magic. Through the use of various artifacts collected over the ages, they serve as guardians for a mystical world that exists parallel to our own. The new people who have been assigned to serve as Librarians are as different as can be, but there can be little doubt that the Library has a reason for picking them. A thief and hacker, a colonel with a specialization in anti-terrorism, a mathematician, and a jack-of-all-trades meet up with the current Librarian to begin their duty.
