Plot

In the heart of 1994, the regal Kingdom of Corea is violently shaken. The King's life is mercilessly taken by his own brother, Lee Lim, who also leaves the King's heir, Lee Gon, injured but alive. Lee Lim's desire for the Manpasikjeok, a mythical flute of tremendous power, drives his actions. However, an enigmatic figure intervenes, leaving Lee Lim with only a fragment of the flute and Lee Gon with a cryptic police badge. Despite his young age, Lee Gon ascends to the throne, becoming the ruler of Corea the very next day. Fast forward to the autumn of 2019. King Lee Gon leads his kingdom with kind-hearted authority, though he is still haunted by the traumatic events of his childhood and the unresolved mystery surrounding the police badge. This badge, marked with the date November 11, 2019, belongs to Lieutenant Jeong Tae Eul who, in the Republic of Korea, is immersed in her work as a detective in the Violent Crimes Division at the Seoul Jongo Police Station, striving to dismantle an illegal online gambling ring. In the same season, King Lee Gon finds himself drawn towards an individual dressed as a rabbit with a clock, suspecting this might be his enigmatic savior from a quarter-century ago. With his faithful horse Maximus, he embarks on a chase that takes him beyond the borders of his kingdom. He traverses into the parallel universe of the Republic of Korea, leading him to a long-awaited encounter with Detective Jeong Tae Eul. The intertwining of their fates marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey that transcends time and space.
