Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993)

This spin on the classic romance between Lois Lane and Clark Kent positions the two as journalists working in an optimistic vision of Metropolis from the 1990's. Clark crash-landed from an alien world as an infant, and he as raised to do good. Now he splits his time between working as a journalist and saving lives as Superman while also trying to balance a budding relationship with hot shot reporter Lois Lane and protect his secret identity. His crime fighting leads him to the discovery that local businessman and tech genius Lex Luthor might be at the heart of much of the city's issues.
