The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)

This is a gothic-romance drama about two orphaned children that need to live in a haunted mansion owned by their uncle. An au pair is hired to look after them, and she doesn’t realize the house is haunted. It is based on the book by Henry James, The Turn of the Screw, but doesn’t follow the narration exactly. The story includes chef Owen, the caretaker at the mansion Jamie, and the housekeeper, Mrs. Grose but also, its previous tenants in the form of ghosts. Right from the start, the niece begins to see apparitions, and the gruesome history of the mansion gradually unfolds.
