Plot

In the heart of the medieval kingdom of Goryeo, destiny is set awry when Princess Nogoog, the queen-in-waiting, is gravely injured by treacherous assassins. As desperation clouds the royal court, King Deok-Hwan Ryu tasks the steadfast Captain Choi Young with an extraordinary mission - to journey through a mystical wormhole believed to lead to heaven. His quest is not for divine intervention, but for "God's Doctor," a legendary healer of ancient lore. However, the heavenly realm proves to be not celestial but temporal, transporting Choi to the bustling reality of 21st-century South Korea. Here, he encounters the feisty, self-absorbed plastic surgeon Dr. Yoo Eun-Soo, a far cry from the revered healer of legend. Despite her initial resistance, she's drawn back across the chasm of time to save the princess' life, earning the moniker Eui Seon, the great doctor from heaven. Swiftly, she finds herself embroiled in a dangerous game of human chess, becoming a coveted pawn amongst the kingdom's power brokers. Three cunning politicians - the king, his uncle, and a nobleman - vie for her custody, turning the palace into a battlefield of wit and strategy. Yet amidst the chaos, a bond grows between the unlikely pair - the time-traveling doctor and her stoic protector, Choi. With an ensemble of warriors, underworld figures, and villainous henchmen with uncanny abilities, the narrative weaves a thrilling tapestry of intrigue, danger, and unexpected alliances. Choi, straddling the line between loyalty and survival, must outmaneuver his adversaries, while safeguarding the woman who could change the fate of a kingdom. As the stakes rise, so does the question - in a world torn between power and love, which will prevail?
