Plot

In the sun-soaked city of Miami, where the echoes of laughter from The Golden Girls still resonate, the narrative of The Golden Palace unfolds. Following the departure of Dorothy Zbornak, who finds herself swept up in the whirlwind romance of marriage, the remaining trio - the sharp-tongued Sophia Petrillo, the naive yet charming Rose Nylund, and the ever-flirtatious Blanche Devereaux - find themselves at the helm of an adventure. Braving a new chapter, they decide to invest in a Miami hotel, trading their tranquil retirement for a bustling business. However, the hotel, a seemingly golden opportunity, presents an unexpected challenge. Stripped of its personnel to enhance its market appeal, it leaves the women with more than they bargained for. With only two employees left in the fray - the level-headed manager Roland Wilson and the witty, culinary maestro Chuy Castillos - the resourceful ladies are thrust into the myriad tasks of hotel management. The Golden Palace is the continuation of a beloved saga - an engaging spin-off of The Golden Girls. It's a story of resilience, friendship, and the humorous chaos that ensues when three retirees, armed with nothing but determination and the support of a loyal manager and cook, attempt to run a hotel. Their journey sees them navigate the unpredictable landscape of the hospitality industry, making for a heartwarming comedy that resonates with both laughter and life lessons.
