Plot

In the heart of the Dong Yue Kingdom, we meet Qu Tan Er (Liang Jie), the second daughter of the influential Qu family. Her heart belongs to the kingdom's first prince, Mo Yi Huai (Wang Rui Chang). However, fate has other plans, as she finds herself betrothed to Yi Huai's younger brother, Mo Lian Cheng (Xing Zhao Lin), the eighth prince. Filled with despair, Tan Er attempts to take her own life, only to awaken with the spirited personality of another woman, the vibrant Xiao Tan, sharing her body. Xiao Tan (also portrayed by Liang Jie) is a woman from a different era, her personality a stark contrast to the demure Tan Er. Full of life and unyielding strength, she finds herself trapped in a world that is not her own. Her efforts to return to her own time have proven futile so far. In a peculiar twist, a lie works as a trigger, causing a switch between the two personalities inhabiting the same body. As the story unfolds, Prince Lian Cheng finds himself falling for the lively Xiao Tan, adding another layer of complexity to this intricate tale. With four hearts entwined in a dance of love and deception, the question remains: will Xiao Tan ever find her path back to her own time? This captivating journey of love, identity, and time-travel promises to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.
