Plot
In a daring swap of high-rises for hometowns, Ellen Richmond exchanges her breakneck, metropolitan existence for the tranquil rhythm of her cherished small-town roots. Yet, the question lingers: has she made the right choice in returning to this human aquarium of a town, inhabited by her whimsical mother, Dot, and her flighty sister, Catherine? Back on familiar ground, Ellen crosses paths with her high school sweetheart, Rusty, who naively believes they can rekindle their youthful romance. She also meets her disoriented old teacher, Mr. Munn, once more. Despite feeling like a fish out of water amidst those who truly care for her, Ellen gradually adapts to this refreshingly different pace of life.
