In the desolate heart of the desert, a stolen 4WD and a transport truck clash in a high-speed collision. Two Aboriginal children in the 4WD are gravely injured, their plight crying out for help. Yet, no call is made. The silence stems from a 'someone' employed by a major player in a clandestinely executed research project shrouded in secrecy. This horrific accident could have remained an unsolved mystery, if not for the relentless pursuit of truth by the Banks brothers. Ned Banks, an aspiring internet journalist, is driven by a thirst for a breakthrough story. His brother, Jesse, a gifted hacker artiste, walks a thin line between law and crime, bound by a stringent good behavior bond. Together, they edge closer to unraveling the enigma, diving headfirst into a maelly swirl of Big Money and Top Secret research. As they navigate this perilous maze, they quickly discover that this project leaves a trail of casualties, silenced or scarred in its wake. The pivotal question becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse: How far will those in power go to safeguard their clandestine operations?
