Plot

In the heart of North London's frenzied property world, we meet Stath, the central figure of 'STATH LETS FLATS', a fresh six-part sitcom that graces E4. Stath is the brainchild of Jamie Demetriou, one of the UK's most promising comic talents, whose performance is reminiscent of a budding Steve Coogan, according to the Independent. Stath, a well-meaning but disastrously inept lettings agent, is the chaotic heartbeat of his Greek-Cypriot father's estate agency, 'Michael and Eagle'. The series revolves around Stath's comical attempts to prove he's a deserving successor to the family trade. His journey is littered with blunders and gaffes, courtesy of his sheer incompetence and polarizing persona. With the unpredictable London property market as its backdrop, 'STATH LETS FLATS' is a distinct blend of workplace humour and familial bonds, offering a rare peek into Greek-Cypriot urban life. Robert Popper (Peep Show, Friday Night Dinner) shares writing credits with Demetriou, while Tom Kingsley, the man behind the BAFTA-nominated 'Black Pond' and 'Pls Like' (BBC3), directs this hilarious voyage into the life of a uniquely flawed but lovable character.
