Star-Crossed (2014)

A Louisiana high school is where the government has placed seven young members of an extraterrestrial race that came to Earth six years earlier. Emory is a 16-year-old student who befriends an alien boy named Roman. She is eager to help him navigate the difficult “integration program” designed to allow the alien youths to blend in with humanity. A friendship between Emory and Roman becomes a love interest. That creates friction with Roman’s ex, an alien girl named Teri who strongly dislikes humans. Life at the school gets complicated fast as aliens and humans struggle to find common ground.
