David Tracey, like most ambitious medical school graduates, envisioned his path to be a linear, well-trodden road to a residency, a professional license, and a career in medicine that would gradually erode his towering pile of student loans. But his well-laid plans are derailed when his anticipated hospital position crumbles into nothingness. Undeterred, David concocts a unique strategy, transforming his parents' humble garage into a free psychotherapy clinic. His sole aim is to amass the requisite 1,920 clinical hours to regain his foothold on his original path. Yet, as an eclectic assortment of peculiar clients trickle into his makeshift clinic, David's perspective begins to shift. Each quirky client, each unconventional session, peels back layers of his own character, revealing an unexpected truth.
