Plot

Immerse yourself in the opulent world of the Sarabhai family, an upper-class Gujarati clan residing in the posh Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai. Their luxurious lifestyle and elite societal interactions form the backbone of the critically acclaimed TV show, "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai". At the heart of this family are Indravadan Sarabhai (Satish Shah) and his wife Maya (Ratna Pathak), who share their lavish apartment with their poetry-obsessed younger son, Rosesh (Rajesh Kumar). Across the opulent hallway resides their older son Sahil (Sumeet Raghavan) and his wife Monisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguly) originally known as Manisha Singh. She hails from a middle-class background in Delhi, a fact that Maya, with her refined tastes and aristocratic airs, finds decidedly distasteful. To alleviate her discomfort, Maya rechristens Manisha as Monisha before her marriage to Sahil. Yet, Monisha's middle-class habits continue to vex Maya, just as Maya's snobbish demeanor irks Monisha. Adding to this comedic brew is Indravadan's hearty ridicule of Rosesh's devotion to his mother and his less than stellar poetic endeavors. However, Maya and Rosesh view Indravadan's boisterous nature and dismissive attitude as crude. "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai" artfully depicts the ensuing conflict and comedy that arises from this familial friction. It brilliantly satirizes the superficial and pompous interactions among the city's elite while shedding light on their biases and misconceptions of middle-class society. The show provides a delightful, humorous observation of the clash between social classes, all wrapped up in the daily life of the colorful Sarabhai family.
