Plot
The evil shape-shifting wizard known as Aku has been a menace for generations, but he nearly meets his match in ancient Japan. A stoic but relentless samurai manages to corner Aku, but the sorcerer escapes the killing blow by opening a portal to the future. The samurai follows only to find himself waking up in a dark and dystopian future. Samurai Jack may have no understanding of how this world operates or how he got here, but that's not going to stop him from his quest to defeat Aku and hopefully find a way back to his own time in the process.
