Plot
An alien sent to Earth with plans to destroy humanity entirely is now forced to live incognito after his ship crash landed. Now living under the guise of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigel, he's left in the sleepy town of Patience, Colorado. But even among the eccentric townsfolk, Vanderspeigel stands out as an oddity. Television and his interactions with his neighbors help him slowly learn what it is to be human, and he finds himself developing strange attachments to his human neighbors. But he's got a greater mission to track down the pieces of his spaceship so he can get it working again.
