Step back in time to the vibrant 1930s in Pittsburgh where we meet young college student, Betty Roberts, who lands an internship at WENN, the town's eccentric radio station. Here, the lines between reality and fiction blur as the station's employees prove to be as quirky and colorful as the characters they portray on air. Our vibrant cast includes Mackie Bloom, WENN's versatile virtuoso of voices; Hilary Booth, the radiant stage queen with an ego as grand as her performance; the silent Mr. Foley, the station's master of sound effects; Tom Eldridge, the loveable simpleton; and Jeffery Singer, trapped in a convenience marriage with Hillary. Each episode takes us on a delightful journey into the struggles, triumphs, and hilarious adventures of this ragtag team, as they strive to keep the magic of WENN alive and buzzing on the airwaves.
