Raccoon Rigby and blue jay Mordecai are groundskeepers at a local park, but the fact that they also have a healthy friendship ensures that always have fun even when they're involved in the most mundane of chores. But the surreal nature of the world they live in ensures that their lives are rarely mundane. The two regularly find themselves pulled into supernatural circumstances, and they're surrounded by an eccentric cast of locals who all offer more texture to the lives of Mordecai and Rigby. They include their boss Benson and a fellow coworker named Skips who also happens to be a yeti.
