Plot
In the shadowy corridors of divorce investigations, private detectives Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk craft a legacy of partnership. Their camaraderie, however, takes a tragic twist when Marty succumbs to a merciless hit-and-run. Death, however, is not the end for our spirited detective, Marty, as he returns from the afterlife to unravel the enigma of his own demise. A cryptic curse entraps him on Earth, threatening eternal damnation if he dares to face the dawn. Thus, Marty, now a spectral figure garbed in white, lingers among the living, visible only to his partner, Jeff. Their bond persists beyond mortality, solving cases and navigating the world of the living. Alongside, Marty watches over his wife and widow, Jean, with a spectral touch of affection and jealousy. Thus, the duo continues their alliance, one living, one deceased, in a world that straddles the line between the mundane and the supernatural.
