Plot
This is a comic science fiction story based on the book of the same name by Douglas Adams. Dirk Gently is a private detective who uses unusual means, including the supernatural to solve crimes. He has an old friend as a reluctant sidekick. Dirk was trained by the CIA in a secret project that evaluates people who have unusual abilities. He believes everything in the universe is interconnected, hence holistic and solves crimes based on strange and unrelated clues that only he can understand. The police and others are continually trying to thwart his efforts. Can his detective agency survive in a cynical world?
