Plot
Queen of the South is the story of Teresa Mendoza. After her drug-runner boyfriend is murdered, she flees Mexico and settles in Dallas. There she teams up with a figure from her past in order to become the country’s reigning drug smuggler--and to avenge her boyfriend’s murder by bringing down the leader of the drug trafficking ring who killed him.
