In a world that treats him like a doormat, Yook Dong Sik, a 34-year-old office worker, is the embodiment of timidity. When a series of unfortunate events turns him into his company's fall guy and estranges him from his family, Dong Sik contemplates suicide. However, fate has a cruel twist in store. On the brink of despair, he stumbles upon a chilling murder scene. In his terrified escape, he ends up in an accident, waking up with a fractured memory and a murderer's diary mysteriously in his possession. As he pieces together his identity from the blood-spattered pages of the diary, he starts to believe that he himself is a ruthless serial killer. This unnerving transformation doesn't go unnoticed by Shim Bo Kyung, a 30-year-old observant neighborhood police officer working on a string of suspected serial homicides. Initially, she perceives Dong Sik as a gentle soul. But as unsettling coincidences pile up, she begins to question if Dong Sik's involvement in the case runs deeper than the surface. Meanwhile, lurking in the shadows, Seo In Woo, a 36-year-old cold-blooded psychopath, is grappling with his own crisis. On the day of his seventh gruesome crime, he loses his diary, an intimate chronicle of his everyday life and meticulously documented murders, plunging him into paranoia. In the twisted plot of Psychopath Diary, identities blur and suspicions rise as the diary binds these three lives in a chilling dance of deception and death.
