Spencer, Emily, Hanna, and Aria were once the most popular girls in school, but the integrity of their clique couldn't survive the disappearance of their leader, Alison. The girls have gone their separate ways but find themselves drawn together by necessity when a mysterious figure named "A" begins to blackmail them using secrets that they believed to be contained within the group. But while they initially believe the culprit to be Alison, they soon discover that simply can't be. They'll need to work together if they want to keep their secrets from getting out, but that will mean rehashing painful memories.
