Plot

In the mesmerizing dance of fate and fortune that is Phoenix, we witness a captivating reinterpretation of the classic Cinderella tale. The narrative orbits around the audacious Lee Ji Eun, a woman who rejects the gilded cage of her affluent family to unite with the humble student, Jang Sae Hoon. This star-crossed love, however, buckles under the harsh weight of poverty, leading Ji Eun to succumb to her family's demands and sever ties with her husband. Devastated, Sae Hoon leaves for foreign shores, and their paths diverge until destiny brings them together again in their homeland. Sae Hoon, having clawed his way up from the depths of despair, returns as a prosperous self-made man, while Ji Eun, now a domestic worker, grapples with life's cruel ironies. With their roles dramatically reversed, they find themselves at crossroads. Can Sae Hoon find it in his heart to forgive Ji Eun for the past? Can the embers of their once blazing love be rekindled into a radiant fire? Phoenix is an intriguing exploration of love and sacrifice, a tale that urges us to question whether the phoenix of their love can indeed rise from the ashes of their shared past. This emotionally charged journey promises to keep you riveted till the very end.
