Plot

Returning to Paris after two decades, Hélène seizes the reins of the troubled Philharmonia, a national orchestra stumbling in the wake of their former conductor's abrupt demise. Despite objections from the director and her own musicians, she's thrust into the tumultuous world of "the maestro killer," with just a single season to prove her mettle and salvage the crumbling ensemble. Hélène, a woman of unconventional approaches, faces the ticking clock with a fierce urgency, treating each day as potentially her last. Swiftly, she dethrones the first violin, the orchestra's foundation, replacing them with a 20-year-old tutti player plucked from obscurity in the third row. This young prodigy, a mirror to Hélène's former self, lives and breathes music, fueled by an unquenchable passion. With a steely determination, Hélène resolves to groom this young virtuoso as her successor. However, she grapples with the question of what legacy she can leave behind when her greatest desire is to shatter the shackles of her own past.
