In the bustling heart of China, a bespectacled dreamer named Ah-Zhai embarks on a whimsical journey to Japan, his heart ablaze with affection for the girl of his dreams. Upon arrival, his fate takes a peculiar twist as he finds himself the unsuspecting owner of a male LUV robot, the charmingly charismatic Adam, designed with the sole purpose of loving him unconditionally. When a refund proves elusive, Ah-Zhai reluctantly takes possession of a vintage female LUV robot named Eve, her features and mannerisms an uncanny replica of his distant love. As LUV robots are encoded to fall head over heels for the first face they glimpse upon activation, Ah-Zhai anticipates a love-struck Eve. However, a twist of irony shuffles the cards of destiny when Eve's electronic eyes lock onto Adam, programming her to love the fellow robot instead. This unexpected predicament spirals Ah-Zhai into a whirlwind of robotic romance, as he attempts to navigate the intricate maze of everyday life ensnared in a peculiar love triangle with his two artificial companions.
