Secret Garden (2010)
Plot
In the glitzy world of retail empire, dwells the charismatic and affluent Kim Joo-Won (Hyun-Bin), who is every woman's fantasy. Young, strikingly handsome, and well-educated, he commands a vast department store as its CEO. Yet beneath his veneer of arrogance and authority, lies a heart vulnerable to an improbable and unexpected love.
Gil Ra-Im (Ha Ji-won) is a dynamic stunt actress, epitomizing a raw, masculine energy. She navigates life as she does her daring stunts - with grit, vigor and a man's tenacity. Contrary to the polished affluent women Joo-Won is accustomed to, Ra-Im is financially modest, uncomplicatedly educated, edging on 30, and hails from an ordinary family.
A tangled web of mistaken identity ensnares Joo-Won when he confuses Ra-Im for a renowned actress she's stunt-doubling, all in a bid to do a minor favor for his popular singing cousin Oska (Yoon Sang-Hyun), with lucrative business returns in sight. This twist of fate disrupts Joo-Won's carefully curated life as Ra-Im's unassuming yet powerful love seizes control.
As the narrative unfolds, an intricate tapestry of destiny, romantic rivalries, mystical elixirs, social disparities, conniving mothers, corporate schemes, a fallen firefighter, and a buried trauma add layers to their already complex lives. This is a story of how the most unlikely of loves can unravel the neat threads of a comfortable existence, weaving a tale that is as enchanting as it is turbulent.
