In the year Cosmic Era 71, a tense equilibrium between the Earth Alliance, composed of 'Naturals', and the advanced ZAFT 'Coordinators', teeters on the brink of collapse. A conflict rooted deeply in economic strife escalates into a full-scale war, shattering the façade of diplomatic resolution. A solitary Gundam remains in the hands of a young Earth Alliance pilot, leaving Kira grossly outnumbered. The battle for supremacy ignites as the last Gundam stands against the stolen quartet, forever altering the course of the Cosmic Era.
